Top 5 of 2014

This post may contain affiliate links. You won't pay a penny more, but you'll help keep It's Dog or Nothing running (websites are expensive!) and the floofs fed (they're even more expensive - as you well know) ;)

2014 has come and gone but these posts are here to stay!

TOP 5

We’ve put together a list of our top 5 posts since we launched It’s Dog or Nothing back in April. Enjoy!

10 Signs of a Backyard Breeder

I’m going to be honest, I was a bit surprised to see this as my number 1 viewed post. This was one of the first articles I wrote on It’s Dog or Nothing and a very, very important one to me. I’m a huge rescue advocate, but I also support responsible breeders. Without them, our favorite breeds would cease to exist. In the article, I share 10 ways to ensure you avoid a backyard breeder.

How to Help Your Dog Gain Weight

Normally when discussing dogs and weight, being overweight is the common issue. However, a lot of people struggle with getting weight on their dogs. When I had a very underweight dog, I realized there was a lack of information on the topic so I decided to discuss it here.

Double Dew Claws

I hope this post can help people understand the few breeds with double dew claws. There are many misconceptions about the functionality of double dews that really needs to be addressed, especially in the veterinary world.

12 Realities of Being a Dog Owner

This was probably the most fun post for me to write. I felt like I was able to let loose and have some fun with you guys. Not everyone understands the silliness that accompanies having a dog!

Grooming a Double Coated Dog

This was another post that I was surprised, but glad, to see in my top 5 posts. Grooming a dog with a double coat isn’t easy, but something that is extremely important for owners to understand.

I hope you enjoyed reminiscing about older posts or enjoying a post you missed. Happy New Year and here’s to a healthy 2015!
