Spoil Your Dog with PetBox

December 12, 2014 15 Comments

Great Pyrenees PetBox

Wouldn’t it be great if you could get pet products from a variety of companies directly to your door each month? Wouldn’t it be better if purchasing those products benefited homeless pets?

These are just two of the reasons we love PetBox.

PetBox is a monthly subscription service that delivers top of the line pet products to your door every month. You can hand select your products or be surprised by the PetBox experts. For each box shipped, a meal is donated to a homeless pet. Tune in to #PetBoxFridays to nominate your favorite shelter or rescue to be that week’s recipient of food.

Great Pyrenees PetBox

This month we received a variety of products that we’re excited to share with you!

Smart n’ Tasty Seafood Medley Treats

Great Pyrenees Smart n' Tasty

These crunchy treats are made in the USA and grain, gluten, soy, dairy, and artificial ingredient free. They have a strong seafood smell and holy fluffy are they a hit. I normally have to use soft treats for training, but these were tasty enough to keep the fluffies motivated through an entire session.

Copper’s Classics Beef Ear

Great Pyrenees Copper's Classics Beef Ear

I’ve never given the fluffies a beef ear before so this was crossing into new territory. I was happy to see that the beef are US raised and the ears are minimally processed with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. I had to break it in half so each pup could have a taste and it was a hit!

Evanger’s Lamb and Rice Dinner

Great Pyrenees Evanger's Dog FoodWet food is a rare treat in our house and something that typically only appears on holidays or other special occasions. Needless to say, the pups were extremely excited to give this kind a try! Made with lamb, brown rice, spinach, and kale, it was a healthy dinner that I approved of and the fluffies enjoyed!

Bow Wow Pet Ruff & Tuff Chew Resistant Toy

Great Pyrenees Bow Wow Toy

I’m going to be honest. When I see anything that is ‘chew resistant’, I have to chuckle a bit. I have some seriously rough chewers. A toy has never lasted in this house and this toy was no different. Even though they were able to destuff this toy, they are still enjoying playing with it. Keeping them entertained is all that matters, right?

Thinking about spoiling your pup with a PetBox subscription this Christmas? We have a discount code for 10% off your first PetBox! Enter code “DOGORNOTHING” at checkout!

I wish we had such a service like pet box in our part of the world too. the snake looks interesting, it would be great for me too, if it is really unchewable :o)

Love your pictures. Wet food is a rare delicacy at our house, too. It’s usually reserved for New Year’s Eve. 😉

They sent us one last December, but even with the three dogs, several items were things we couldn’t use. They are fun as a gift for someone, perhaps with a new dog I think.

Looks like that box was full of all sorts of fun things!

I agree with you that ‘chew resistant’ always makes me laugh. I bought Ginger dog an early Christmas present over the weekend, gave it to her yesterday, and she has already destroyed it. Oh well, she had lots of fun with it yesterday!
