Phew! What a long week we have had! Since we are currently stationed in Montana, it’s not very easy to make it back to the east coast to visit family. Nick and I are currently in the middle of planning a celebration of our marriage (we had a quick wedding before we had to move for the Air Force), so we needed to make a trip back to get some of the details figured out. Between confirming appointments, getting last minute details ironed out, coordinating with the dog sitter, and getting packed, I have not been able to spend time on the computer.
I think I’m going through blog withdrawal.
It’s really hard being away from Mauja and Atka, but my parents have two Bernese Mountain Dogs for us to love on. Mallie and Kai are 4 years old and pure sweetness. They definitely started my love of giant breeds. Tomorrow will be full of adorable berner pics and tales. I look forward to catching up with all of you!

I loved planning our wedding reception! Super stressful, but very fun too. Enjoy it, and take lots of photos! 🙂 Are you incorporating your love of dogs into the celebration in any way??

If we can make it work, we would love to have our dogs be a part of the celebration. The issue is… we live in Montana and we will be celebrating in PA (where my family lives). It could be a long drive and stressful for the pups if we don’t plan appropriately. Hopefully we can bring them along!
