Keeping your dog (and yourself) fit is vital to a long, healthy life. We had beautiful weather last weekend and wanted to get outside and enjoy it. One of our favorite things to do with the fluffies is go out into the backyard and play a game of soccer. Mauja always prefers to chase the soccer ball, while Atka likes the orange water ball.
Mauja’s got some great moves. She will actually “dribble” the ball a few steps before picking it up.
They are really particular about which balls they play with. They each stick to their favorite ball and wait their turn.
I love when their huge jowls flop over their toys 😉
After about an hour of running around the yard, we were all pretty tired. Mauja’s expression says it all. Such a happy face 🙂
Atka’s big, droopy tongue says we’ve worn him out. Nothing better than a tired puppy!
How do you get active with your dogs?
Haha…what a great time and they sure do look happy. We do the same, just get out in the yard and romp around.
Oh wait, I come over… I love soccer… and someone made a hole in my ball (probably dad). have a great friday, bet we will meet each other at the soccer world cup :o)
This is so funny! Katie loves soccer! She has had a real soccer ball since she was about a year old. She used to do headers and everything. One time in Germany she even got onto a field where kids were playing and Mom couldn’t get her to stop. Must be something these types of dogs love. Enjoy the fluffy soccer!
Our pups love playing with balls as well ~ Buzz likes nothing better than playing fetch with his chuck-it balls, and Missy likes to play keep away with them 😉
How do you keep the balls inflated with such sharp teeth biting into them?
They are too cute! That looks like fun! Zoe stole a soccer ball from a child once!! She really liked that ball but I gave it back and we got her one. 😀
Oh my goodness! I absolutely need a dog big enough to play soccer with. Luna and typically just go for walks or a run.
Mr. N doesn’t really like balls but he loves to “kill” his soft stuffed toys by pouncing on them and shaking them vigorously.
Looks like so much fun! We get out and run around the backyard too… just came inside!
