Today, we’re giving away something that a lot of dogs could benefit from—an anxiety relief system.
Mauja has suffered from pretty severe anxiety since she was about eight months old. We never did find the trigger of the anxiety, so we’ve been working on desensitization and finding supplements to help keep her calm.
Anxiety is extremely common in dogs. In fact, it’s estimated that over 24 million dogs in the U.S. suffer from regular anxiety. This anxiety can be caused by storms, fireworks, loud noises, car rides, among several other things.
We’re always looking for new products to help her. One I was pretty excited about was a compression shirt, like a thundershirt. I have a weighted blanket and understand the calming powers of compression, so I was really excited for Mauja to have that as well.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have much success with it.

A few years later, I was introduced to
Eventually, I decided to try again, and I’m really glad I did. The Calmz anxiety relief system was definitely helpful in managing Mauja’s situational stressors.
The Calmz® Anxiety Relief System for dogs consists of an adjustable vest that cradles a device over specific acupressure points on your dog’s spine. When the device is activated, the clinically proven NeuroSync™ Technology takes over. Your dog will hear and feel a therapeutic blending of classical music, tones,
and vibrations that soothes anxiety within minutes. –Calmz
Since so many people have dogs suffering from anxiety, we wanted to extend this giveaway to TWO of you! Please note that the giveaway is for the XL size of the vest. Please ensure it will fit your dog or you’re willing to donate the vest to the appropriate-sized dog.

Fireworks are a major anxiety problem for my dog.

I would use this with Colby- out pitbull mix. He had a lot of anxiety when outside on walks and especially when dogs and other things are outside. He additionally has separation anxiety and anxiety at the vet.

My dog Myla has suffered with anxiety most of her life. Her biggest issue is being left alone so she has to come pretty much everywhere with me. She also gets anxiety when being in a car for long drives.
both of my girls hate thunderstorms and loud noises, like fireworks. my oldest has fits when she gets her nails trimmed.
Fireworks and thunder cause anxiety in my dog
Loud beeps, thunder, rain, wind, power outages.
A few of our dogs have several fears. There is one though that is unfortunately afraid of thunder, fireworks, loud noises, when her siblings “argue,” and other noises/situations too.
Guns shooting — we live in a rural area and when some is target shooting our hunting he hates it.
Ou flyffy is terrified of wind, especially since the last big windstorm a tree fell on our house 🙁
I have a Boston that is awful when he sees other dogs. We have 3 all together, but if another one comes by our fence, he just gets so bad.
Thunder and fireworks are a high anxiety trigger for my girl.
Firecrackers/fireworks cause major issues for my dogs. The length they’re set off is increasing every year, too. I hate it.
I’ve never seen this before, definitely going to investigate it. Remy (150 lb Great Pyrenees) is currently having a meltdown (anxiety) over a new tv. He hates change. We changed our bed and he cowered when he came in our room fir weeks (he sleeps in there!). He hates fireworks, rain, thunder, lightning…..poor guy is so sensitive. He has a thundershirt and mutt muffs, neither help by I hope that one day they will. I also give him CBD treats. ?
Just looked at these, Remys chest is 42 inches, they don’t make it big enough for my boy ?
My Foxy is afraid of everything and anxiety through the roof! Thunder, trash trucks, sirens, you name it.
She hates really loud sounds. Guns, Fireworks, and big trucks! I am glad we just moved and are further down the road so she will not hear as much.
One of my dear friends has a beautiful rescue pit bull and she’s just a great ball of nervous energy. She’s one of the sweetest little girls I’ve ever met, but she just gets so overwhelmed sometimes. I think this could be a huge help for her and her mama.
When we start packing the bags to leave on a trip, and when it storms really hard …both of these cause anxiety.
